The Camera

"The Camera"

1. How the 'camera obscure" worked was, in a dark room there was a tiny hole that projected light and caused whatever was on the outside to be projected in the room (upside-down).

2. The invention that made man one step closer to the modern camera was that Sir isaac Newton and Christen Huygens made the lens that helped the understanding of optics.

3. The final parts of the camera that was invented by Niepce is film.

4.The one piece of the modern camera that Niepce used is the film to create a photograph and they were also portable.

5. Digital cameras use something called digital film which replace the old film, and made al the pictures portable.

6. The difference between Auto Mode and Program Mode is that on Auto Mode the camera will take over the flash and exposure. The Program Mode is like Auto but can adjust the flash and other settings.

7. Portrait Mode is when you want to take a picture of one thing, how it works is it simply blurs out the background.

8. Sports Mode is you want to see something in motion, how it works is that it uses the biggest shutter speed as possible so it'll look good.

9. You should Half-Press the trigger button because it helps the Camera get the shot better as in being more focused, a better response time, and it also encourages better composition.

10.  The symbol means you have disabled the flash, and it won't go off. Sometimes you would want natural light over the cameras light.

11. The symbol means the flash is on auto, and will automatically fire the flash when the camera thinks it's right. You may want to use this if you think there needs to be flash but you don't really know so you let the camera decide.

12. What will happen to your photo is there is too much light then the camera will wash out your picure.

13. What will happen to your photo if there not enough light the picture will be too dark.

14. "stop" means the change of light in a picture.

15. If there was a new planet identical to earth but had two suns it would be one stop brighter.

16.  If there was a new planet identical to earth but had four suns it would be two stop brighter.

17. The affect of a longer shutter speed means that there is more light.

18. The affect of a shorter shutter speed means that there is less light.

19.  The Aperture controls the size of light before it reaches the CCD

20. To control the Aperture by making the larger the opening the more light that there will be, if the opening is small it will open less light.
