Hi Jack, I think that your photos are really cool, my favorite one was the one you took of Bowie because of your aerial angle. The other photos are a good use of simplicity, but you can only use that technique so many times! Try to think outside the box and really get creative. For example, instead of taking a close up of that grate you could have taken it from really far away and incorporated some lockers (more metal) into that shot. And for your square one you might try to find a natural square instead of some cardboard ones behind some glass. You could take a picture of a brick that is missing from the wall or the courtyard. Overall your pictures show potential and I'm sure you'll get better and better as the year goes on.
