HDR Photography

HDR Photography

1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image?

The camera must have an Auto Exposure Bracketing function so that the pictures are automatically for over and under exposure

2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image?

It should be a setting for your camera or smartphone, or there can be software that can make it HDR

3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image?

Whenever something is a lot darker in the photo then what you would like, or when it's not exposed.

4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo?

Some of the artifacts that come with incorrectly exposed images such as distortion and blur of underexposed areas will not be apparent on an HDR photo because it is correct exposed in the first place
