Nut Graff
A Nut Graff is the second paragraph in a news story, used to convey the purpose of the story. It is often used to hook the reader (worms) and keep the reader hooked(pun intended). It is the most important part of the news.Nut Graff is important, and decides a good and bad story. They are the most memorable and put the story in context. Nut graffs are not easily identifiable, and vary wildly from story to story. Just as Nut Graffs provide context, they must be used in context.
