Final Preview Assagissent

Final Preview Assagissent

1.) Summarize what you watched and read about - let's say 2-3 paragraphs of 3-4 sentences

iMovie is alright to the more advanced video editing applications, Final Cut Pro X. iMovie can make in widescreen and standard format, and that affects the end result of the video. iMovie can control the frame rate, and mostly the standard is 20 fps.
iMovie is standard with the Apple Products, and you can get it for free from the Appstore, I would get it. You can import, export files, edit the timeline as well. This tool is designed to be easy for less tech savvy people.

2.) Tell me one thing that you already knew about iMovie that the website explained

I have never used iMovie before, I made some fake trailer for class projects

3.) Tell me one thing that you learned new today that you didn’t know before.
I learned more about how easy and simple it is to use.

4.) What are you concerned about with this final project?

I am concerned about that i'll have enough pictures and information about my topic.

5.) What are you confident you can complete early and have ready to use?

I am confident that I can complete the narration because I am the best when it comes of telling a story along with taking the video I have some experience of taking a video.

6.) If I asked you today, what do you think you will do for your video?
I will most likely do something that I can get a lot of martial for and know about it, like movies and woodworking, and certain people famous, infamous, well known, unknown, good, bad, friend or foe.

Portfolio Analysis

Portfolio Analysis

1. Justin Mott
2. Stories, traveling pictures
3. Going out of focus on purpose, not showing the money makers, bodies, and quality of portfolio could be  a lot better.

4. Photos where of good quality, judges liked the point of view.
5. These photos where alright, but definitely not the greases thing in the world, the Bill of Rights is still better. Sports photography is super common, like look at Sports illustrated.

1. Carlos Delgado
2. Stories
3. Judges did not like the photo stories at all they are like i'm gonna kill this dude, thought the color choice was terrible , and the captions where lacking.
4. Judges did however enjoy the angles, and the humorous soccer picture, Like I laughed so long and hard that I now have a six pack.
5. Some of his pictures where alright, especially the soccer one, but most of his pictures where probably subpar quality.

1. Jordan Murph
2. Sports and Stories
3. Judges said  the photo needs more detail, remove posed action shots, and get some more full face images.

4. Judges noted nice emotion in some photos, and nice composition.
5. Jordan I thought was a better photographer, because in the beginning he left a lot of his pictures really strong, but it did taper of towards the end. If he could focus, then there could be some really great shots.

1. Dustin Snipes
2. His composition, angles, and especially moments.
3. I agree with the strengths the judges mentioned, because most of the pictures were framed, and Dustin has a great eye for pictures and there are really no weaknesses I can see.
The judges really like the picture with the girl and the goose in Part 5: Best Student Image, but I can't understand why because I think the composition is alright and I think the actual shot could've shown more of the subjects which is the girl and the lake bird.
I disagree with the judges on one of the student image photos. It is the one at a baseball game where the dad is tossing his daughter in the air like a idiot and I think it's a good picture because the dad and daughter are a silhouette against the very colorful night sky. Yet the judges where begging heartless one eyed purple eaters and complete peered all over the painting.

Nut Graff

Nut Graff

A Nut Graff is the second paragraph in a news story, used to convey the purpose of the story. It is often used to hook the reader (worms) and keep the reader hooked(pun intended). It is the most important part of the news.

Nut Graff is important, and decides a good and bad story. They are the most memorable and put the story in context. Nut graffs are not easily identifiable, and vary wildly from story to story. Just as Nut Graffs provide context, they must be used in context.

Architecture Preview 2

Angles: The photo of the Turing Torso can be shot in many different creative angles, this one is shot in a 45 degree angle letting us see the skyline and the top.

Light: The Turing Torso is a Complex. many residents have a great view of Sweden and light looks beautiful when it beams in.

Details: Although plain looking by actual martial. This close up shot is a photo of the buildings legs support which is located at a cool foundation outside.

Pattern: the building is very unique for that it is very twisted. This pattern is of the windows and because of the way hoe the building is designed it adds a different way to look at the pattern.

Surroundings: The building is one of the tallest of all of Sweden so it is obvious to spot. This shot is of a celebration with fireworks to match the cool lighting that the building has.

Sensory Overload

Sensory Overload

1. I agree. It makes me feel about my  photography  as that really a good photo can come from anywhere, it doesn't have to come from a famous landmark. It can come from a Walgreens parking lot in the Bronx.

2.  Well I would of course to show that this place actually exists.

3. I used to go to work with my parents sometimes, there was usually nothing for me to do. But if my parents worked there i'm guessing no child will ever be bored.

4. My favorite photo is the one with Santa all over like someone ate to much candy canes and just threw up in the room a lll over then someone cleaned the place up and put a bunch of christmas decorations in there.

Strong National Museum of Play

Margaret Strong

Rockester, New York

This is a public building

No

The building was created because the patron Margret Strong provided the money

Well at first I thought it was one of those modern art public exhibits. Then I saw the door. I suppose the color attract me also. I also am curious of what the interior looks like as well. i wonder if the the outer degisn affects the inside.

Casa Milà

Pere Milà i Camps
1984
Barcelona, Spain where they speak Spanish
Public
No
It was a Playboy house oh yeah. I guess the guy liked his women like he liked his oranges rotten and seedless

I think the guy who designed was possible was gonna build a normal building. But then the town was giving him these suggestions. So it went from traditional Spanish building to looking like a turd after two suggestions. But it turned out just right.

Nautilus House

Javier Sensonian

2007

Mexico

It is a house so unless you want to get arrested in the north I wouldn't walk in.

No

The designer was employed to create a unique building

I choose and liked this picture. I choose it because I liked it. I liked it cause All Hail The Magic Conch. Also its that the design I'm really impressed by. it's actually the glass windows that i'm intrigued by.

Turing Torso

Santiago Calatrava

2001

Malmö, Sweden

It seems you can walk in the building but its an office building and also a complex so there really isn't much you can do.

No

it was based on a sculpture that  the designer liked.

I choose this one because i first thought it was suppose to be a replica of a human torso turing. So I thought i would see this gory image of a torso. But then I saw it and well it still look pretty cool

The UFO House

1. What is your favorite photo? Either describe it, or figure out a way to post it on your blog.

Falvio in New Zealand with the car by the beach.

2. Does it seem like all of these images could have been taken with a phone?

It seems possible but it must've been taken with creation mods to the phones along with apps, and a lot of work with photoshop and all that stuff

3. How much do you think the apps some of the photographers used impacted the image?

Properly they can change the amount of pixels there are and also improve the range of the subject and its surroundings

4. List two tips you think might help your own photography with a phone.

HDR was suggested to me and also try to play around with filters a little bit and also use of course photoshop
